General Instructions
This test takes about 30 minutes.
Please try to speak at least 80% of the time allocated for that exercise.
If you complete your speaking well within the allocated time, please click on the Next question button at the bottom, and avoid waiting for the entire timer to go till the end.
Your network connectivity plays a crucial role, hence good connectivity is a must to get speaking scores.
Instructions to the Candidates
- You are given a total of three attempts for recording your speaking test.
- You may play back your answer before submitting it. You are also given the option to record your answer all over again.
- Once the test is submitted, you cannot change your answers.
- There will be timers as you attempt the test, so try to talk for as long as the time stipulated.
Information for the Candidates
- The speaking test has 5 parts.
- Part 1 is Read to Me. You will be asked to read aloud the sentence in about 30 seconds. You will be given 30 seconds to prepare before you speak.
- Part 2 is Repeat what you hear. You will be asked to Repeat a Sentence after hearing it in 15 seconds.
- Part 3 is Explain what you see. You will be asked to Describe an Image in about 1 minute.
- Part 4 is Explain the Message. Total duration of each question is about 2 minutes.
- Part 5 is Give me the answer. Total duration of each question is about 15-20 seconds.
- Ensure that your microphone is working by recording a test audio before you start the test.
- Read the questions carefully.
- Examine the data given before attempting to write the answer.
